Saturday's Scoop: 'Locals Day' at Sunset Strip Craft Beer Garden

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Sunset Strip Craft Beer Garden #2

Forget the and head to the 8950 Sunset Blvd. lot from 12-9 p.m. The ColLAboration  features craft beers from 24 ever changing taps. There will be a $10 admission/membership fee. Pours within the gardens range from $5-$6. And in honor of "Locals Day," West Hollywood residents with valid ID will receive one complimentary beer token with the purchase of their first token at the entrance. 

Other Happenings:

• The Public Facilities Commission is holding a special meeting at 9 a.m. in City Hall's Community Conference Room to elect a chair and vice chair, as well as discuss a tour of work plan sites.
• The city and the Classical Theatre Lab's production of As You Like It The Musical, adapted and directed by Tony Tanner, is playing through July 31 in the Great Hall Courtyard at . Show starts at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
• , LA's leading showcase for diverse LGBT film and video, resumes at the Directors Guild of America.
• LA's four-day poetry festival, , continues at the . Tickets range from $5 to $20.
