Stormy Daniels Is No Megyn Kelly- Thank (god) For That!

I learned the news business hands on- under the tutelage of Ted Turner and he taught me so much about authenticity. He changed news for Good

I am smart and experienced and like most people, I find change so unsettling, I fear for the world, not for myself. Ted Turner created an entire new horizon of delivering the news that exists to this day. He was ridiculed but never shamed.

NBC has historically been so “progressive,” they have insulted women at every turn in the road.

Hiring Megyn Kelly was the final straw for me. A Foxy hen in the henhouse, who no one thought to help her not embarass herself- Andrew Lack, you should be ashamed of yourself.

News has become a business of good looks and smarts, and I’ve said this before, Rachel Maddow is one of the best broadcast journalists ever. I am sick and tired of this myth about Edward R. Murrow.

I don’t say what I don’t know, and perhaps she and Lester Holt were in contention for the anchor’s chair vacated by Brian Williams, who, quite frankly, has never been better, and I suspect he knows that and knows that’s why Maddow had chosen to stay put.

If NBC wants to increase their male demo or female demo, with a conventionally great looking “babe,” then they should consider Stormy Daniels, in the capacity of the many positions that don’t require in depth experience.

She is smart, courageous and she happens to be an American hero.

I trust no one will mention this to my aunt in Ohio, we spoke soon after the 60 Minutes broadcast, and she was so impressed.

“John- how’d you like that Michael Avenatti?”

I said, “I liked them both, which one was that, other than the cute guy who was doing the interview?”
