Sunday's Scoop: Weho to Host Howl-O-Ween Doggy Costume Contest
Owners are dressing up their pets in fashionable costumes for the annual contest in West Hollywood Park.
Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Sunday in West Hollywood:
Main Event: Howl-O-Ween Doggy Costume Contest
Pets and guardians will be awarded prizes for scariest costume, look-alike pets (and guardians), most creative costume, most colorful costume and best costume. Registration is not available on the day of the event. The contest begins at 2 p.m. What are your critters dressing up as this season?

Other Happenings:
- Lesbian Field Day in the Park is taking place in West Hollywood Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring kick ball, three-legged races, flag football, and music from DJ Euphoric.
- A Beyond Beauty and Body Image panel discussion is happening in the Great Hall of Plummer Park from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Top bloggers and social media experts will discuss "the broader social and political consequences of our image driven culture," according to the city announcement.
- The city's Russian Advisory Board will host Sunday Night Russian Jeopardy from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Rooms 5 and 6 at Plummer Park. Participants will be provided refreshments.
