Sunday's Scoop: Erotic Art and a Marriage of Craft and Design

The Tom of Finland Foundation's annual fair continues on Sunday and the Craft and Folk Art Museum is offering a tour of its new exhibit.

The Craft and Folk Art Museum at 5814 Wilshire Blvd. will host a walk-through of work by mid-century California designer-craftsmen Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman at 3 p.m. The Ackermans collaborated for more than 50 years to create what CAFAM calls a comprehensive retrospective. To RSVP, call 323-937-4230 x50 or email rsvp@cafam.org. The Tom of Finland Foundation presents the 16th annual weekend event at the  Auditorium. Forty-five artists from around the globe; painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media and digital work, will be featured between 12-6 p.m. Mr. L.A. Leather 2011 will lead the Welcoming Ceremonies at 2 p.m. A DECENT STATE: Art & Policy
THEME: Government’s role in what is seen, a symposium on public-funded institutions, will take place 3-4 p.m. Admission is $10.
