Thursday's Scoop: New Parking Lot Coming to Sunset Boulevard

West Hollywood will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new short-term public parking lot at Sunset and Doheny Drive.

Main Event: Parking Lot Ribbon Cutting

The city is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. for a new public parking lot located at 9056 Sunset Blvd. The lot will provide off-street parking for nearby businesses and restaurants with rates at $1 per hour. Open daily from 8 a.m. until 2:30 a.m., the “green” parking lot features advanced filtration devices and extensive landscaping, according to a city release.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high near 67, according to the National Weather Service. West Hollywood is expected to be breezy, with a north northeast wind between 15 and 20 mph, gusts as high as 30 mph. The low will be near 64.
