Reggae icon Bob Marley's son comes to the Sunset Strip.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Ky-Mani Marley Live Show

The dynamic performer, alongside Gramps Morgan, Arise Roots, Bodhi Rock, DJ I & I Sound, brings his international tour to at 8 p.m. Marley, Jamaica-born and Miami-raised, is the second youngest of reggae legend Bob Marley's 11 children.

  • The city's Urban Arts Subcommittee meets at 5 p.m. in the Rent Stabilization Hearings Room to receive a presentation on Stage III of the Urban Art Project for the Pacific Design Center/Red Building and learn more about the public artwork by artist Ed Carpenter for the Plummer Park Master Plan Implementation project.
