Thursday's Scoop: More Than 30 Weho Retailers to Celebrate Fashion's Night Out
The 2nd annual event features live music and DJs, food trucks, store sales and giveaways.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:
Main Event: Fashion's Night Out
The global event created by Vogue magazine comes to West Hollywood for the second time. More than 30 retailers throughout the city, including , , , , , , ,  and , will offer discounts, giveaways and complimentary cocktails from around 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Food trucks will be parked between the and . Skybar at is hosting the after-party. And make sure to take advantage of the city's free shuttle service.

Runner Up:Â Andrew Dice Clay
The comic, who landed a role in the final season of Entourage, will be performing at the . The show kicks off around 8 p.m. Tickets are $39.50.Â

City Meetings:
- The Performing Arts and Cultural Affairs Subcommittee meets at 5 p.m. in the City Hall Community Conference Room. The subcommittee will discuss a chamber orchestra concert in winter 2012 in the new West Hollywood Library Council Chambers, as well as as strategy for One City/One Pride 2012.
- The city's Planning Commission Design Review Subcommittee meets at 5:30 p.m. in Room 5 of Plummer Park. The subcommittee will hear a presentation for a five-unit condominium project at 1019 N. San Vicente Blvd.Â
- LA County Community Development Commission is hosting one in a series of five meetings in Weho to seek input on housing funds targeted at low- and moderate-income areas and individuals.
The Forecast:
- Temperatures will reach 102 today, reports the National Weather Service. West Hollywood will see calm wind and clear skies, with a low around 68. The Cooling Center at Plummer Park is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through Thursday in case you need to chill out.
