Thursday's Scoop: Ozomatli to Headline House of Blues Restaurant Pre-Launch

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Crossroads Pre-Launch

Attendee's of Ozomatli's 9 p.m.  show can arrive one hour early to sample menu items from chef Aaron Sanchez's new HOB restaurant, Crossroads. General admission tickets are $12.50. 

City Meetings:

• Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission at 5 p.m.
• Planning Commission Design Review Subcommittee at 5:30 p.m.
• Automated Garage and Community Plaza Design Review Steering Committee at 6:30 p.m. 
• Women's Advisory Board at 7 p.m. 
• Rent Stabilization Commission at 7 p.m.

Other Happenings:

• Southern California Edison will be working to between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the 8500-8600 blocks of Rugby Drive, 8500-8600 blocks of Santa Monica Boulevard, and 900 block of West Knoll Drive.
• Film historian and photograph archivist Mary Mallory will present and sign copies of Hollywoodland, 7 p.m. at .
• Dizzy Reed, the former keyboardist of Guns 'n Roses, will perform at the  at 9 p.m.

The Forecast:

• West Hollywood will see patchy fog before 11 a.m., clearing by mid-day, National Weather Service reports. The high will be near 83, dropping to a low around 61.
