Trevor Project Honors Lady Gaga With Hero Award
'Born This Way' singer awarded for her work in memory of gay teen Jamey Rodemeyer.
West Hollywood-based nonprofit , devoted to suicide prevention among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth, held its annual Trevor Live benefit show Sunday.
The Hollywood Reporter said A-listers were out in full force at the Hollywood Palladium. But the big honoree of the night was Lady Gaga, recipient of the Trevor Hero Award for "being an inspiration to youth and increasing visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community."
