The Grinch still may steal Christmas but it looks like the ghost of Toys R Us past has become a Halloween pirate on Los Feliz Blvd. with a haul of ghoulish loot to keep kids from becoming the pre-October 31 nightmare of Halloween future, costume still TBA.
For adults who may be wondering if this is a Toys R US bait and switch variety of Trick or Treat, none of the employees with whom I spoke said they work or have worked nor have plans to work for Toys R Us, as it's meant to be re-incarnated on site post Halloween...a spooky tale for November, if ever.
