Nelson George, author, filmmaker, television producer and critic with a long career in analyzing African-American culture, is heading to Sunset Strip's one-of-a-kind bookstore at 7 p.m. The Plot Against Hip Hop: A Novel, a "noir novel set in the world of hip hop culture," as Book Soup puts it, is selling for $15.95.Â
