Tuesday's Scoop: Artichoke's Heart Opens on Melrose

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Tuesday in West Hollywood:

Main Event:

Mexico's Corazon de Alcachofa has opened its first U.S restaurant on Melrose Avenue. The slightly upscale eatery is considered "the northern cousin of El Corazon de Alcachofa," which has a location in Guadalajara and another in Mexico City. The opening event, originally set for 6-7 p.m. at 9010 Melrose Ave., has been postponed. Call 310-385-2222 for more information. 

Other Happenings:

• The Fairfax Branch Library at 161 S Gardner St. offers hands-on training on the computer keyboard, mouse and computer screen in a 1:30 p.m. .
• Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi will present and sign copies of Divinity of Doubt: The God Question at at 7 p.m. Call 310-659-3684 for more information.

The Forecast:

• The National Weather Service predicts a sunny forecast, with a high near 82 and a low around 66. East southeast wind will remain 5 to 10 miles per hour, becoming southwest.
