Born on Burton Way in Beverly Hills, Carrie White quickly became the go-to hairdresser for A-listers from models to musicians. The website describes her memoir Upper Cut as "an unflinching portrayal of addiction and recovery" in Hollywood. The book costs $45 and the event begins at 7 p.m.
