Tuesday's Scoop: PRISM to Host Benefit for Second Harvest Japan

Umamimart and Yamazaki Whisky are teaming up with , ,and  to present the Los Angeles installment of The Gift of Food for Japan. Tickets are available in limited quantities for $50 in advance, and $75 day of the event. All donations are made directly to Second Harvest Japan, and receipts will be issued immediately via email, according to the event information.

: Pearls on the Ocean Floor

Robert Adanto’s feature-length documentary, "Pearls on the Ocean Floor," about
Iranian female artists, will be screening at  at 7:30 p.m. A panel discussion consisting of leading Iranian scholars—Professors Farzin Vahdat and Abbas Milani, as well as Public Affairs Aliance of Iranian Americans Executive Director Mahasti Ziai Afshar—will follow Adanto’s film. 

: Papa Roach, Houndstooth and A Million Pieces

Looking for a dose of live music? There are a lot of great acts rolling through West Hollywood.  is dishing out an exciting night of rock with Papa Roach with Alien Ant Farm and Finger Eleven starting at 7:30 p.m. At 8 p.m., Houndstooth performs as part of On The Rox, and A Million Pieces takes on The Key Club at 8 p.m. Find out more Tuesday shows in Weho .

It's warming up in Weho. The National Weather Service predicts a high near 79, dropping to around 61. West Hollywood will see a sunny and breezy Tuesday, with winds reaching as high as 30 miles per hour.
