Uniqlo to 'Pop up' at Beverly Center

The pop-up is a tease for the real store, which will open locally in October.

Uniqlo will open three pop-up stores this summer throughout the Los Angeles-Orange County area where shoppers will get a sneak peak at the store's clothing lines. 

The chain will be opening four stores throughout the Southland in fall:

  • South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA (Sept. 5)
  • Glendale Galleria in Glendale, CA (Sept. 26)
  • Northridge Fashion Center in Northridge, CA (Sept. 26)
  • Beverly Center in Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 10)
But to get your preview, the pop-up locations will be at:

  • South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa – July 3
  • Santa Monica Place – July 22
  • Beverly Center in Los Angeles – July 31
Currently, there are 21 open Uniqlo stores in the U.S., as well as uniqlo.com, which offers nationwide online shopping. In 2014, Uniqlo will also be opening more new stores in Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco/Northern California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. To staff these new stores, Uniqlo plans to hire and train several hundred full-time and part-time employees at all levels.
