Visitors Bureau Adds Director of Sales, Digital Marketing

Elizabeth Pickering and Erin Pedraja will takeover sales and digital marketing, respectively, for the Weho Visitors Bureau.

The West Hollywood Marketing & Visitors Bureau (WHMVB) is proud to announce the hiring of two new team members. Elizabeth Pickering has been named Director of Sales, while Erin Pedraja has been named Director of Digital Marketing.

“We are excited to welcome these new additions to the West Hollywood MVB team and are looking forward to their contributions elevating our efforts to market West Hollywood as a premier travel destination,” said Brad Burlingame, President & CEO of the West Hollywood Marketing & Visitors Bureau.

With more than 10 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing, Pickering joins the WHMVB team from Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her most recent experience at the resort was as a Leisure Sales Manager. Her broad hotel marketing experience also includes serving in digital marketing, public relations and front desk roles. Pickering received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University. In her new role as Director of Sales of the WHMVB, Pickering will actively solicit group, leisure, incentive, event and meeting business to West Hollywood through direct sales. She will also work as a facilitator among the areas hotels and other facilities to attract business to West Hollywood.

Erin Pedraja arrives at the WHMVB from CX Interactive, a digital marketing agency at which she served as a Project Manager. Her wealth of experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing also includes serving as a Senior SEO Specialist for Oversee.net.  In these roles, Pedraja gained valuable skills in overseeing campaigns to raise brand awareness, rankings, traffic and revenue. Pedraja earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. In her new role as Director of Digital Marketing for the WHMVB, Pedraja will develop high-level online strategies for brand awareness, website engagement and traffic. Working collaboratively within the organization, she will also oversee content development for the website, visitwesthollywood.com.
