Wednesday's Scoop: 'Catwoman' Julie Newmar Coming to Book Soup
Just days after her appearance at the new library debut, Newmar will be discussing her "how to" book at the Sunset Strip staple.

Main Event: Julie Newmar Book Signing
The original Catwoman is making an appearance at this evening to discuss and sign The Conscious Catwoman Explains Life on Earth. "This is a compilation of wonderful tid bits of information, inspirational thoughts, and practical advice for daily living that Julie has collected and experienced over her lifetime, and she is sharing with the reader," according to Book Soup's author event description. Newmar's book costs $18.95.

City Meetings:Â
- There is a Bicycle Task Force Meeting at 6:30 p.m. in , Rooms 5 and 6. The Task Force will review a draft Bicycle Report and receive a video presentation from Taylor Nichols, according to the agenda. Their next meeting is Nov. 2.
- A Transgender Advisory Board Meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Community Conference Room. Staff will be swearing in new members, receiving a Brown Act presentation, and discussing Day of Remembrance, according to the agenda. The meeting is expected to adjourn by 8 p.m.
