The City Council will meet Monday. The agenda includes a public hearing on land use policies, including signage and remaining topics contained in the Comprehensive General Plan Update, Climate Action Plan and Environmental Impact Report.

The Planning Commission will deal with a delayed proposal Thursday to demolish the building on the southeast corner of Robertson and Santa Monica boulevards. The commission will also consider changing The Abbey’s conditional-use permit from a restaurant to a nightclub.

The Russian Advisory Board presents the 66th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day on Sunday in the grassy area next to the veterans memorial at Plummer Park. The ceremony will honor WWII veterans who have contributed socially, culturally and civically to the city of West Hollywood.
