West Hollywood Ranked Third in Top 10 U.S. Cities for 'Sensitive' Men

Some of the most sensitive single men in America can be found in West Hollywood, based on research from online dating site Chemistry.com.

The site, launched by Match.com in February 2006, allegedly tapped its data on the personality types of American singles to locate the cities with the highest concentrations of sensitive men.

West Hollywood ranked third, with Pompano Beach, FL, in first place, followed by Roanoke, VA. Ann Arbor, MI, was deemed the least likely city to find a sensitive man.

"Men do have a sensitive side. They want to please," said Dr. Helen Fisher, chief scientific adviser for Chemistry.com, in a statement. "But different men do it differently; and these 10 cities are packed with a certain kind of man, what I call 'builders'—men who express a constellation of personality traits linked with the serotonin system in the brain."

Fisher defines "builders" as traditional men with "chivalrous qualities," who value loyalty, duty, respectability and proper moral conduct.
