West Hollywood's Stolen 200-Pound Bulldog Statue Still Missing
Artist William Sweetlove is offering a reward for the returned sculpture.

The hunt for a 200-pound pink bulldog statue is still on weeks after it was stolen from a six-piece exhibit sponsored by the City of West Hollywood in its "Art on the Outside" display.
"Unfortunately, I think as the days go by it is less likely that the person who took it is likely to return it," said Andrew Campbell, the city's cultural affairs administrator, in an email. "We are of course very disappointed."
Artist William Sweetlove is offering a reward for the returned sculpture, called "Cloned Bulldogs with Water Bottle." It was last seen June 9 on a median on Santa Monica Boulevard.
The exhibit is on Santa Monica Boulevard between La Cienega Boulevard and Olive Drive, according to Tamara T. White, a West Hollywood public information officer.
Anyone with information should call detectives at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, 310-855-8850.
