Woman Sues Apple After iPad Catches Fire
The West Hollywood woman reportedly had to get medical help.

A West Hollywood woman is suing Apple after she was injured when her iPad caught fire.
Valerie-Jean Miller filed the negligence/products liability lawsuit Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The negligence suit seeks unspecified damages.
An Apple representative did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment.

The complaint states that Miller was using her iPad model A1458 at her apartment last Dec. 23 when it unexpectedly malfunctioned and caught on fire. She was forced to get medical help, the suit states.
Miller has lost earnings because of her injuries, according to the lawsuit.
