- Need to fill up the tank? According to GasBuddy.com, the least expensive gas in Woodland Hills is $3.89 per gallon. Find it at the Arco stations at 6310 Fallbrook Ave. at Sylvan Street and 22455 Ventura Blvd. at Capistrano Ave.
- The Woodland Hills Branch Library will host a staged reading of Harry & Eddie: The Birth of Israel, which tells the story of haberdasher Eddie Jacobson's efforts to help persuade President Harry S. Truman to acknowledge the State of Israel, at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
- The Dodgers take on the Yankees at home tonight at Dodger Stadium. The game is at 7:10 p.m. According to theDodgers website, where tickets are still available, probable pitchers are Zack Greinke and Andy Pettitte.
- Did you know you can join in on groups based on your interests and located close by on MeetUp.com? A quick gander at Woodland Hills area groups shows meetups for off-road bicyclists, singles, walkers and hikers, pagans and witches, moms and vegan foodies. Is there a group for you?
- Plan ahead: The Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Division will host its National Night Out observance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Shadow Ranch Park at 22633 Vanowen St., West Hills.
