Body Found After Woodland Hills House Fire
After extinguishing a small fire in a Woodland Hills home, firefighters found a dead man inside.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA — Los Angeles firefighters found the body of a man after a small fire in a Woodland Hills home.
The fire broke out at 2:27 p.m. in one room of a one-story, single-family home on the 23200 block of West Victory Boulevard, according to an LAFD spokesperson. It didn’t spread to the walls or the structure, and firefighters were able to put it out by 2:41.
In searching the home, firefighters found the body of an adult male dead from causes unrelated to fire or smoke. LAFD spokesperson Nicholas Prange said that there were no burn marks on his body.
