Congressman Plans Woodland Hills Town Hall
Rep. Brad Sherman will host a town hall meeting for Valley residents Aug. 25.

Rep. Brad Sherman's office will be making various appearances in the San Fernando Valley this month and amongst them are a number of Woodland Hills events, including an Aug. 25 town hall meeting.
The town hall will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at El Camino Real Charter High School, 5440 Valley Circle Blvd. The event will offer District 30 residents to let the congressman know what's on their minds. His staff members will be available to help attendees with any problems they might be having with federal agencies.Â
Other events Sherman will attend are as follow:
Sunday, Aug. 11
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.—Concerts in the Park, Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Sherman will speak and present concert sponsor General Growth Properties’ Fallbrook Center with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.
Friday, Aug. 16Â
7 to 9 p.m.—Shabbat Services, Congregation Or Ami, 26115 Mureau Road, Suite B, Calabasas. Sherman will speak at Shabbat services at Congregation Or Ami, discussing the important relationship between the United States and Israel.
Saturday, Aug. 17
11 to 11:30 a.m.—San Fernando Valley NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet, Odyssey Restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive, Granada Hills. Sherman will present the chapter president with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.
7 to 8 p.m.—India's Independence Day observation, Granada Hills High School, 10535 Zelzah Ave., Grenada Hills. Sherman will speak at the event and introduce Indian Ambassador Nirupama Rao to the United States.
Sunday, Aug. 18
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.—Concerts in the Park, Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Sherman will join Valley residents for a concert in the park featuring a Boston tribute band.
Tuesday, Aug. 20
7:30 to 8 p.m.—Taiwanese Presidential Reception, Universal Hilton Hotel, 555 Universal Hollywood Drive, Universal City. Sherman will introduce President Ma Ying-jeou at an event celebrating the President’s visit to Los Angeles and will discuss the importance of the relationship between the United States and Taiwan and present President Ma with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Thursday, Aug. 22
4 to 4:30 p.m.—Ribbon Cutting, Solar City, 21040 Nordhoff St., Chatsworth.Â

2 to 3:30 p.m.—Town Hall Meeting, El Camino Real Charter High School, 5440 Valley Circle Blvd., Woodland Hills.
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.—Concert in the Park, Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Sherman will join thousands of Valley residents for a concert in the park featuring the music of a Queen tribute band. His staff will also be on hand at a constituent service booth to answer questions regarding federal agency assistance.
