San Fernando Valley Gas Station Robbery: Gunman On the Loose
An armed man robbed a gas station across the street from the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park the morning of Feb. 15.

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY -- An armed man escaped and is on the loose after robbing a gas station in Canoga Park Friday morning.
Police responded about 3:30 a.m. to the 6400 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, across the street from the Westfield Topanga Mall, and were told that a man had walked into the station, pulled out a gun and made off with an unknown amount of cash, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Norma Eisenman.
The suspect left the store in an unknown direction, she said.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.
No injuries were reported.
