This Is The Best Grocery Store In Colorado, The Daily Meal Says

Where can you go for the best food shopping in Colorado?

ACROSS COLORADO -- In Colorado's battle of the grocery stores, new options have sprung up, including Sprouts and Natural Grocers. But when it comes to customer loyalty, it appears one stalwart grocery chain gets the most love in Colorado. King Soopers, first opened in Arvada in 1947 and now managed by Kroger, was identified as the best grocery store in Colorado and ranked among the best in America.

The Daily Meal, which was published this past week, praised King Soopers for cleanliness and friendly staff.

"King Soopers is the go-to for many in the Denver area, and the chain has a significant presence throughout the Rocky Mountains. It has a large selection of goods and is cheaper than the high-end markets, making this store a local favorite." One shopper said, “This location is always fully stocked, clean, and always has super friendly employees. I go a little out of my way to shop at this location.”

The Daily Mail said it "scoured the Internet" for as much information as it could find, cross-referencing other best-of lists that have previously been written as well as reviews on Google, Yelp, Foursquare, and Facebook.
"We also conducted informal polls of friends, family, and acquaintances in far-off states in search of the answer, weighing concerns and praise about price, quality of products, and customer service, as well as store cleanliness," according to the site.
