Car Stolen With Two Children In Backseat In Denver
The children have been found safe, Denver police said. The boys' mother is now warning others about the dangers of leaving a car running.

DENVER, CO — The mother of twin boys is speaking out after what she called "the worst 30 minutes of [her] life." Trish Doyle told police that she left her Toyota Prius running for about 30 seconds in a driveway while she dashed into the home to pick up her son for school. The vehicle was then stolen with the 2-year-old twin boys in the back seat.
The Denver Police Department sent out an alert Wednesday just before 8 a.m. asking the public to report any sightings of the Prius, which was stolen from 5th and Mead Street. The children and the car were found about 30 minutes later a few blocks away near South Quitman Street and West Cedar Avenue, police said.
A cellphone left inside the car helped police track the vehicle.
