Colorado Store Closings: Ann Taylor, Loft, Justice

COLORADO — Ascena, the parent company of clothing retailers including Justice, Lane Bryant, Ann Taylor, LOFT, Catherine's, Lou & Grey and Cacique, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday, announcing plans to close about half of its 2,800 stores, including 76 Ann Taylor, LOFT and Lou & Grey stores, more than 600 Justice stores and all Catherine's plus-size clothing store locations. All locations outside the U.S. will also close.

Disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said the last few months negatively impacted "meaningful progress" toward getting the company back on track financially.

The closures include more than a dozen Colorado locations, according to a report by USA Today.

• Denver: 8270 E. Northfield Blvd.
• Aurora: 6235 South Main Street, Suite 109

• Westminster: 14697 Delaware St., Suite 400
• Broomfield: 1 West Flatiron Circle, Space 2200
• Castle Rock: 5050 Factory Shops Blvd., Space 645
• Golden: 14500 W. Colfax Ave., Unit 255
• Loveland: 5943 Sky Pond Drive, Suite #E172
• Colorado Springs: 750 Citadel Drive E, Space 22008
• Grand Junction: 2424 US Highway 6 & 50, Space 0332

Ann Taylor store closures:

• Lakewood: Colorado Mills, 14500 West Colfax Ave.
• Thornton: Denver Premium Outlets, 13801 Grant Street
• Loveland: Outlets at Loveland, 5817 McWhinney Blvd.
• Silverthorne: Outlets at Silverthorne, 125-A Stephens Way

LOFT store closures:

• Lakewood: Colorado Mills, 14500 W. Colfax Ave.
• Glendale: Tanger Outlets, 6800 North 95th Avenue
• Fort Collins: Foothills Mall, 215 E Foothills Pkwy

More closings could also be coming. The final number and locations of stores that are closing has not yet been determined, the company stated in its news release.
