Colorado's 'Best Burger Restaurant' Worth A Road Trip

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO – As summer is winding down in Colorado, why not make one final road trip for ... a hamburger? Colorado's best burger joint has just been revealed in a new review by diners across the state. The new list from TripAdvisor points burger lovers to the best burger joints in the country. In Colorado, the top-rated burger restaurant is Back Door Grill, in Steamboat Springs.
The "locals favorite" restaurant is small and kid-friendly with a quirky decor. "When you walk in there are dollar bills all over the walls and ceiling," one reviewer writes.
Specialty burgers include one that gives you a chance to eat "breakfast lunch and dinner all in one sitting," the Dirty Harry Burger, featuring peanut butter, a fried egg, hash browns, bacon, and cheese all on a glazed donut. Handout fries and onion rings also generate raves, as well as the microbrew selection and the lovely outdoor patio. Prices range from $7.99 - $15.99.

Steamboat is a ski town, but there's plenty to do in the late summer and fall, including hiking, biking, or for the wild-at-heart, bungie trampolines and gondola rides.
