Fisherman Catches Largest Bluegill In Colorado History
A man hooked the largest bluegill ever recorded in the state this week.
A fisherman reeled in the largest bluegill on Colorado record this week. Gregory Wallace caught the sunfish at Totten Reservoir in Montezuma County.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife congratulated the fisherman and shared a photo that shows him proudly holding his catch.
The bluegill weighed two pounds, 9.5 ounces and was 12.75 inches long, CPW said.

The catch out-weighed the previous record, a two-pound, five-ounce bluegill caught in 2014 by Robert Castro in Pueblo, state records show.
