1 In Custody After Homicide In Arvada
A man who was killed early Thursday morning in Arvada has been identified, deputies said.
ARVADA, CO — A person was taken into custody after a man was killed early Thursday morning in Arvada, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies were called to the 4800 block of Flower Court around 1 a.m. for a death investigation.
"This is being investigated as a homicide and a suspect is in custody," the sheriff's office said in a tweet posted just before 2:30 a.m. "There is no threat to the public."

An altercation had occurred, and a man was hospitalized with multiple injuries, deputies said.
Another man was found dead with multiple stab wounds. He's been identified as 35-year-old Shane Youngblood, according to the sheriff's office.

"All parties involved in the disturbance were identified and are cooperating with the ongoing investigation," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
"An individual known to the victim was booked through on the investigation of murder in the second degree."
No further details about the case were released. The investigation was ongoing.
