ARVADA, CO — A person died Tuesday morning after a one-car crash in Arvada, police said.

A driver was traveling east on 86th Parkway, when their vehicle crashed near Alkire Street.

The east lanes of 86th were closed while police investigated.

No further details about the cause of the crash or the identity of the person who died were released.
