2 Shot In Dollar General Store Just Outside Arvada

ADAMS COUNTY, CO — A man and a woman were injured in a shooting Tuesday morning at a store in Adams County, officials said.

Deputies were searching for a man who's wanted in connection with the shooting. He may be driving a black BMW sedan, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting occurred inside the store, near Sheridan Boulevard and West 52nd Avenue, the sheriff's office said. Deputies were called to the store around 9:30 a.m.

The man and woman were standing at the shop's counter, when a man walked in and shot them both, officials said. They were taken to a hospital, where they are expected to recover, the sheriff's office said.

A description of the suspect is not yet available, the sheriff's office said.
