Arvada Days Festival Brings Back Fun From Pioneer Era

Vintage baseball, historical re-enactors string music and a barn dance all await at Clear Creek Valley Park.

ARVADA, CO – Take a trip back through time to celebrate Arvada's early history in the Denver gold mining era at the Free "Arvada Days Festival" on Saturday Sept. 22 in Clear Creek Valley Park.

Historical re-enactors and pioneer era activities will re-create old-time fun with events such as an Annie Oakley-style shooting demonstration, a vintage baseball game (Colorado Vintage Baseball Association vs Arvada Miners) and a fishing contest for kids. (Register here). Re-enactors will wear historically-appropriate clothing representing the early days of Arvada– established 1870 and incorporated in 1902.

The evening ends with Old Time string music, a farm-to-table dinner (registration required) catered by Organic Roots Catering and a Barn Dance and marshmallow roast.
