Arvada Days Festival: Schedule, Activities, Entertainment
The event will feature a cook-off, a kids fishing contest and the Hilltop Harvest Band.
ARVADA, CO — The third annual Arvada Days festival will bring people of all ages together this Saturday, Aug. 24 to participate in contests, activities and a community bike ride. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Clear Creek Valley Park, 5900 Tennyson Street.
The first 500 people to arrive at the festival will be offered free ice cream.
The festival will feature the Arvada Days Kids' Fishing Derby, a petting zoo, train rides, live music and a cook off.

Arvada Days schedule:
- 8:45 a.m. - Arvada Days History Bike Ride - Riders will visit 10 historic sites in 10 miles. The ride will start at Gold Strike Park at 5500 W 56th Ave and head west along rail and creek alignments. Bikers are asked to get there at 8:45 a.m., and the ride leaves at 9 a.m. After the ride you can continue for 1.5 miles to the Arvada Days Festival at Clear Creek Regional Park.
- 9:30 a.m. - Check-in for Kids' Fishing Contest
- 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Check-in for Dutch Oven Cook-Off
- 11 a.m. - Event Starts (Free ice cream for the first 500 attendees!)
- 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Hilltop Harvest Band
- 2 p.m. Dutch-Oven Cook-Off winners announced
- 3 p.m. - Event ends
