City Of Arvada Among Best Places To Work In Colorado: Denver Post

ARVADA, CO — The city of Arvada is one of the top places to work in Colorado, according to The Denver Post's 2021 ranking. This is the fourth time the city has been named a top workplace in the report.

The city was ranked No. 20 among the top 150 organizations. The workers' compensation carrier Pinnacol Assurance in Denver was ranked No. 1, and the software companies Keysight Technologies and Salesforce were ranked No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

An anonymous internal employee survey, gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, is used to compile the ranking.

"A key takeaway from the survey is that the City's overall employee engagement rate increased by nine percent from the 2017 survey to 55 percent in 2020," the city of Arvada said in a news release.

“We are proud to be recognized as a top workplace,” said Mark Deven, Arvada city manager, in a statement. “It is an indication that we are maintaining a high-performing, engaged team to help us provide the highest levels of service to our community.”

Arvada was also named a Denver Post Top Workplace in 2012, 2015 and 2018.

“It is particularly important to note that we achieved this result during the pandemic,” Deven said. “We appreciate everything our team has done to stay connected and engaged during an unprecedented time.”
