Colorado Coronavirus Vaccination Progress: Update
Here's the latest information about how many Coloradans have been vaccinated and which counties have the highest vaccination rates.
More than 1.6 million Coloradans have received at least their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, according to state data. More than 1 million Coloradans are fully immunized.
All Colorado residents ages 16 and older will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine Friday, Gov. Jared Polis announced Monday. But demand continues to outpace supply, and vaccination appointments often disappear within minutes of becoming available.
Still, more and more people are getting shots daily through more than 1,000 health care providers and clinics in Colorado. Everyone who wants to be vaccinated should be able to receive their first appointment by the end of May, Polis said.
