Dark Comedy 'The Moors' Comes To Arvada Center Black Box Theater
Playwright Jen Silverman turns the world of the Brönte sisters on its head in this regional premiere directed by Anthony Powell.

ARVADA, CO – An absurdist black comedy, "The Moors" takes the stage at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities Black Box Repertory Theater, beginning Feb. 22, 2019.
Playwright Jen Silverman "turn[s] the world of the Brönte sisters on its head" in a play about two sisters and a depressed Mastiff dog on the bleak English moors.
This regional premiere is directed by Anthony Powell. The Moors is presented by members of the Arvada Center’s Black Box Repertory Company of actors, directors, technical artists and designers.

The cast is:
- Emma Messenger (Agatha)
- Jessica Robblee (Huldey)
- Regina Fernandez (Emilie)
- Annie Barbour (Marjory)
- Geoffrey Kent (The Mastiff)
- Emily Van Fleet (A Moor-Hen)
- and Daniel Crumrine (Madeline).
Performances take place Wednesdays at 1 pm, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 pm, Sunday at 2 p.m., and select Saturday matinées at 2 p.m., through May 18.

Previews are Feb. 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $45, with a limited number of preview tickets at $25.
