I-25 Ramps Closed: Bridge Repairs At I-70 This Weekend

Detours on Southbound I-25 will add three minutes to travel time, CDOT said.

ARVADA, CO -- CDOT's bridge repairs will close a ramp on I-25 this weekend starting Friday night. The southbound I-25 ramp to eastbound I-70 will be closed from Friday, May 11 at 9 p.m. through Sunday, May 13 at noon.

During the ramp closures, motorists can use either southbound I-25 to westbound I-70 or southbound I-25 to the 58th Avenue exit ramp as their detour route.

Detours are approximately two miles long and will add three minutes to your commute, CDOT said. See map and routes below.

“By performing a full closure we are able to reduce the long term impact to the public by completing the ramp in one weekend,” said Matt McMechen, CDOT project engineer in a statement. “It is much safer for the crew and motorists to have a full closure, rather than a partial while conducting these repairs.”
