Jeffco Food And Nutrition Task Force To Present Recommendations

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — The Jefferson County School Food and Nutrition Task Force, a group of community members, parents, school staff and public health professionals, will be presenting its finalized report of recommendations to the Jefferson County Board of Education Dec. 12.

This will be the first time the report is actively shared to Jeffco parents and staff; however, community members are invited to give their feedback at the meeting. The task force will present the recommendations in the Ed Center at 6 p.m. Dec. 12.

The Jefferson County Food Policy Council will also be hosting a learning session from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11 at Warren Tech in the Founders Room #224. Community members are invited to learn more about the task force and prepare public comment for the upcoming meeting.
