Instead of calling, you can text us as soon as you pull into a parking spot. Simply text “here” to the first number on the sign and you will receive text requests for your name, library card number, parking spot number and if you’re picking up for any additional people. Once you’ve responded to all the prompts, staff will gather your reserved items and send you a text when they’re on their way out to deliver your Library resources.

This new service was designed specifically for libraries, and will help make the curbside experience smoother for JCPL patrons and staff, as we continue to seek ways to improve convenient access to Library resources.
“Curbside Communicator was chosen as our newest service because of its convenience to our Library users,” said Jessica Paulsen, a public service manager at JCPL. “We hope this will provide you with a smoother curbside transaction for all of your Library items, including your Library Summer Challenge prizes, opens a new window!”
If you are unable to text or you prefer phone calls, we still have a phone line available, and you can still use the walk-up doorbell if you don’t have a cell phone.
Jefferson County Public Library is piloting this service at Belmar Library, opens a new window, Evergreen Library, opens a new window and Golden Library, opens a new window, and will expand to more locations in the coming weeks. Conifer Library does not provide curbside services.
We’d welcome input on how this is working and encourage you to let us know what you think by emailing communications@jeffcolibrary.org, opens a new window.
