Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting Child In Arvada Store
Ronn Gregory Wyman, 62, sexually assaulted a girl in Arvada, the Jeffco District Attorney's Office said.
ARVADA, CO — A Jefferson County jury found a man guilty Wednesday of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in 2020 at an Arvada thrift store, the county's district attorney said.
Ronn Gregory Wyman, 62, was convicted of sexual assault on a child - victim less than 15, prosecutors said.
Arvada police officers were called to the ARC Thrift Store, at 9661 W 58th Ave, on Jan. 12, 2020, after they received a report of a sexual assault.

"A frantic mother called the police after her 11-year-old daughter reported that a male had grabbed her buttocks inside the store," the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office said in a news release.
"The mother notified police that she had chased the male out of the store and managed to physically block him from driving away."

While the 11-year-old was looking at merchandise, Wyman "had been circling her and making eye contact," before he "grabbed her buttocks, using his full hand," the DA's office said.
When charges were filed against him, prosecutors learned that he has an "extensive criminal history," according to the DA.
Prosecutors added three habitual criminal charges for felonies committed in Denver and California, which included indecent exposure, attempted kidnapping, and second-degree murder, the office said.
Wyman's sentencing is scheduled for July 1.
