Section Of West 58th To Close In Jefferson County

Jeffco officials have announced an upcoming closure of W. 58th Avenue just west of McIntyre.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — A section of West 58th Avenue will close for reconstruction next week, Jeffco officials announced Tuesday. The roadway will close Jan. 20 just west of McIntyre Street.

During the closure, crews will reconstruct the intersection and place the first two layers of asphalt on the west side of McIntyre Street, officials said.

The work is part of the McIntyre Street — W. 58th Avenue to W. 60th Avenue — project.

Drivers are asked to take detours along West 60th Avenue and Poppy Way.

The closure is expected to last around two weeks, officials said.
