Start Spring With a Water-Wise Xeriscape Garden In Arvada

A free xeriscape landscape consultation is available to Arvada residents who want to explore ways to use less water in their yard.

ARVADA, CO -- The average U.S. suburban yard uses about 70,000 gallons of water for irrigating. Xeriscape "water-wise" landscaping yards can get that number down by 90 percent to 7,000 gallons or less, according to Resource Central.

Want to find out more? The City of Arvada is partnering with Resource Central to offer Water-Wise Landscape Seminars on Xeriscape and other sustainable landscaping practices to Arvada residents.

Free landscaping consultations are available to help residents save water and keep their yards looking beautiful. The city is offering 45-minute consultations one-on-one with a professional expert who will give you a complete landscape assessment, a professional landscape design, and a list of action items and goals that will help you transform your lawn into the garden of your dreams.
