ARVADA, CO — The city of Arvada has closed roads in Olde Town to help businesses expand amid the coronavirus outbreak. The closures, which were set to end at the end of the summer, have now been extended until Nov. 3.

The expansions allow businesses to use sidewalks for seating and shopping, leaving streets open for pedestrian traffic.

Governments across Colorado have implemented road closures to help restaurants, bars and shops adhere to social distancing requirements, and the programs have been largely successful.
