Jeremy Webster is accused of shooting a 13-year-old boy to death, and injuring his mother, brother and a bystander.

ADAMS COUNTY, CO — A trial begins this week for a man accused in a deadly road rage shooting case.

Jeremy Webster, 26, is accused of shooting 13-year-old Vaughn Bigelow Jr. to death on June 14, 2018, in a Westminster parking lot. The boy's mother and brother were wounded in the shooting, and a bystander was also injured, according to the Adams County District Attorney's Office.

Webster was charged with 22 counts, including first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

The 13-year-old's mother, Meghan Bigelow, said she heard emergency sirens while she was driving on Sheridan Boulevard, and she attempted to change lanes. This led to a confrontation with Webster, who followed the mother and her children in their vehicle to the parking lot, according to authorities.

Webster then pulled out a Glock 19 handgun and shot the mother and her two sons, police said.
