4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled In Boulder

BOULDER, CO — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

Boulder’s Folsom Field fireworks and other celebrations may have been canceled, but they can be replaced with other local traditions, such as a 4th of July picnic at the Boulder Reservoir or a shopping trip to the Boulder Farmers Market:

Boulder Reservoir - Take a break from the hot weather, pack a picnic blanket and head to the reservoir to cool off! Many families flock to the beach every 4th of July to sunbathe and enjoy the view. Outside alcohol is prohibited at the reservoir, and each carload must pay a daily access fee of $10 (individuals pay $5 each). More information can be found here.

Boulder Farmers Market - What better way to celebrate the 4th of July weekend than to support local farmers? The market runs from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. July 3 on 13th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Pets aren't allowed at the market. More information about the market can be found here.
