Boulder Arts Week 2019 Starts Friday

Boulder has one of the country's largest concentrations of artists. Here's how to make the most of this week in town.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder Arts Week arrives this year from March 29–April 6, and with it comes free and discounted arts and culture offerings across the city. Highlights include art walks, exhibitions, performances, dance, music, theater, public art, lectures, readings, and a variety of workshops.

Friday, March 29

  • Cellissimo Concert: An advanced cello ensemble of 12 gifted middle an high school students from the Western Springs School of Talent Education and Naperville Suzuki School in the Chicago suburbs. (Community Church of Christ, 6:30 p.m. Free!)
  • Boulder International Film Festival Shorts: A replay of the greatest hits from BIFF 2019. (Boulder Public Library, 12 p.m.)

Saturday, March 30

  • An Evening with Art Lande, Boy/Girl Band and S-Band: Come see the grammy-nominated pianist, composer, drummer and educator perform with two of his groups. (Dairy Arts Center, 7 p.m.)
