Boulder Community Health Foundation Awarded $10,000 Donation

Companies Assist Rick Baker of Rick Baker & Associates Insurance in Giving Back to Local Communities During COVID-19 Crisis

Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance announce a $10,000 donation to Boulder Community Health Foundation – nominated by Rick Baker of Rick Baker & Associates Insurance - as part of an Emergency Community Support Grant to help independent insurance agents give back to their local community during the COVID-19 crisis. The donation will go directly to Boulder Community Health Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the community with the highest value healthcare in the nation.

β€œOur team reached out to the BCH Foundation to see what we could do to help when this COVID-19 crisis was just evolving a little over a month ago. We started a small effort to help provide lunches for the hospital employees on our own and quickly realized our effort was not enough,” said Rick Baker of Rick Baker Insurance. β€œWe are incredibly thankful for Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance for providing extra funds to help the community when we need it most. We are fortunate to be in partnership with these wonderful companies.”

Boulder Community Health is the only hospital located in the City of Boulder and is currently on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. The $10,000 donation will support their efforts through this unprecedented situation together. The BCH COVID-19 Response Fund has been established by Boulder Community Health Foundation to remove any barriers to providing the best treatment for COVID-19 as well as to support BCH employees during this critical period. Feeding the front line community and their own employees is a major part in this ongoing effort to keep the community and staff in a safe environment.
