Boulder County Coronavirus Update: New Cases, Deaths

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past three weeks, 1,515 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.

As of Monday, 23,110 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll reached 254 after four people died over the past three weeks.

More than 134,300 Boulder County residents — or 49 percent of the eligible population — are fully immunized, according to Boulder County Public Health. Around 184,100 residents — 67 percent of the county — have received at least one dose.

Around 792 people have been hospitalized in the county since the outbreak began, and 43 new hospitalizations were reported over the past three weeks.

Colorado has seen a surge of coronavirus cases over the past several weeks, and around half of those cases are variants, state public health officials said. Between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon, 743 new cases were reported in our state.
